Scripture and Intro
In the Bible I have read various times about healing the sick… One instance follows:
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay. (Matthew 10:8 ESV)
I have some testimonies of Jesus still healing today…
Healed from Arthritis
A friend of mine has sent me some videos. The first is about a lady who had Arthritis.
He would go to places and start reaching out to people to see if they needed prayer… This lady was approached, having Arthritis and having pain in her hands… He prayed for her and she received healing, including pain relief…

I also got to pray for another lady with Arthritis last year… While I went to the botanical garden in our town, I met the one lady who was at the gate, who had arthritis… I approached her, and we started talking and she allowed me to pray for her…
God removed her pain immediately and she experienced healing in her hands…
Her words to me after we prayed: I needed to drink pain medication now, however the pain has completely left after we prayed
Broken Ankle Healed
So in our town, I am part of a group that goes to hospitals frequently, under more normal circumstances that is… There are some of the people in the group who goes in the afternoon and at night… This is one of the testimonies of what God did at the hospital…
This lady was outside the hospital and in a wheelchair, as you will see in the video… I know both the people in the video, and they approached the lady…

There is no way that we can cause anyone with a broken leg to be healed on our own… We have learnt to put our faith in God and we see these miracles frequently…
Other healings in Hospital
On a normal day in the hospital for us, we go into the different wards and we ask if anyone would like prayer.
On a normal day we pray for everyone in each ward we are able to go to… Most people we find in hospital are open for prayer…
I have seen a few healings in the hospital as well and will quickly share some of it…
I have had some people, who had third-degree burn wounds. One of them told us that someone lit his mattress… He had severe pain and was not able to even move… After we prayed, God touched him and there was not a hint of pain left… He was even able to move in his bed.
After a lot of praying for healing in the wards where the above person was, there was another person in the ward. He had severe pain and doubted that God would touch him… I prayed for him, and God removed the pain he had. Afterwards, due to him saying he believes that the pain will come back, I went back to him 2 times to check and by the time we left, he still had no pain…
The odd healing
I call this the odd healing, as this is not what happens most frequently when we go praying at the hospital.
I want to give a testimony of something else that did happen in the hospital, this was related to healing as well…
So we went into one ward and we prayed for a lady with a broken ankle. One of the others in the group accompanied myself (we believe in going out in groups of two or three) and we started praying for the lady… The lady did not experience anything in her ankle. After we prayed three or four times, we moved on to the next person…
Later the person who was praying with me mentioned that something should have happened, as we prayed for broken ankles and pain many times and God did touch everyone…
My response to this: “We have put our faith God, and we trust God will do something… It is not that we do the miracle, but rather that we are obedient..”
The person who was praying with me went back later that week and the lady was discharged.
Conclusion
God is still healing today. We need to be obedient to His Word. When we step out in faith, God is faithful in what He does…
We need to remember WHO HE IS…
Jesus did not heal every sick person he saw. However when Jesus did pray for someone, they did get healed… Jesus even prayed twice for one of the blind… This does give me hope that Jesus wants to heal people…
I will write about healing as a foundation in the near future to go into more detail regarding healings.
