So it is a week since the initial testimonies were published and had some interesting feedback in the week…
Testimonies from a friend during lockdown
The Lord has been gracious to me in this time as I now have the opportunity to spend more time in His word and in prayer than before. He has also stirred a love for these disciplines in my heart and I am starting to see the fruit of this, as I am growing in godliness.
During this time I have also been made aware of sins that were hidden under the mask of a comfortable life. When things start getting difficult and uncomfortable (such as staying in lockdown for months, not being able to visit family even if they only live 10 minutes away etc.) then one’s sins tend to be pushed to the forefront.
Healing from Testimony
So in this last week, one of my friends here in George, South Africa, has also read the testimonies of last week… Shortly after she asked for prayer… When I asked her about the what to pray for, her response was as follows:
For my cough. Which I do not have anymore (translated from Afrikaans)
She got healed by God without a prayer
Another Healing Testimony
I was in contact with one om my friends, who was not feeling well… I sent a voice note on WhatsApp praying for her (I tend to call these prayer notes)… She sent me the following message:
My nose started opening up immediately, I could start breathing again through my nose😁😁😂😅 (translated from Afrikaans)
A couple days later when I spoke to her, she told me that she was completely recovered a day or two later.
Testimonies from friends in South Korea
Some of my friends are currently living and teaching in South Korea. They had a bit of an issue this month financially. They needed some money to get through the month. And God has been providing everything they needed continuously…
Some of their friends were also struggling, and had a lot of debt… They asked my friends there to pray for them for debt alleviation. The next day they were able to pay off a large chunk of the debt.
Another of their friends had a problem that two of their dogs with bitten by puff adders. They prayed for both the dogs, and all of the dogs were fine… One of them also didn’t get any medication at the doctor…
Food when in need
I was in a place where I had to work (as the technical person) on a conference for a couple of years in a row… We worked with outreach organizations to stir awareness for outreaches…
On more than one occasion during these years in this specific week, I had a finance issue… I had food at my house, however I was unable to go home until around 10pm (and I walked home each night)… I have had random people come up to me and asking if they can buy me food or something…
Conclusion
So we often wonder if where we will get finances of food.. When we know Who Jesus is in our life, we end up finding that He is the of everything we have…
When we pray for healing, He is the Healer. Thus the source of the healing…
When we are struggling financially, we find that God makes plans to supply all our needs… And on this, if God supplies a odd job, he is still supplying to our needs…
Matthew 6:25-34 speaks about all our needs… What we wear, eat or drink… God already knows what we need… Please read the whole passage, I am only adding a part of it below
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:25-34 ESV)
We need to grow in intimacy with God, so He becomes the supplier and provider of all of our needs…
